Franklin is situated a lazy 35 minutes from Hobart CBD along the Huon Highway (A6). It is about halfway between Hobart and the popular attractions of the Tahune Airwalk and Hastings Caves. Click here for the Google map of Franklin

It's a very popular trip: head down to the Airwalk or Hastings Caves, lunch at Franklin on the way down, stay overnight at Franklin on the way back, you get the idea. Of course we believe you'll want to spend a lot more time than that exploring Franklin and its surrounds.
